Mutate IO Game Review

Mutate.io also known as Mutatio is a multiplayer variation of agar.io. You control the blob creature which is fed, grown, modified, and used to attack opponents.
This game was developed for this jam, the Pygame Community New Years jam (theme: mutation) The game was my attempt to use the jam to gain knowledge about networking as well as test game design habits which I’m not used to (e.g. Global state).
Currently the only server is the one I’m running at: 34.76.77.52, which I’ll probably keep up for a month or so when the software is released. The max number of concurrent clients that can be allowed is 10.

Versions: version 1.0.1 was made available prior to the closing of the jamversion 1.0.2 also included minor bugs corrections in the server.py file to address rapid disconnections between clients. “Slim” versions are the compiled versions where I have tried to eliminate all DLLs, folders or other files that I don’t believe you have to install to run the program.
