Know by Heart Game Review

“Know by heart” …” is an exercise in accepting losing. It’s an amalgamation of music and plot. The subtle gameplay, fantastic mini-games and the music give the impression that you can go back to childhood. The players feel as if they are growing up and it is quickly passing through our fingers.

The players will get to experience the peaceful life of a small Russian town, where remnants as well as echoes from the Soviet time period can be heard and seen.

Misha is the main character, is stuck in his monotonous work, which is a dead end, until the monotony is shattered as his school crush returned to town. The first time in years Misha regains hope of escaping the ennui of his daily day life. A short but thrilling episode of the town’s life is interwoven with the story of a gang of former friends who are reunited together. It’s their job to journey down memory lanes to rekindle their bond But their past memories of their past as well as the friendships between them get strained…

A nostalgic game headed by Ayrat Zakirov, CTO at Ice-Pick Lodge. The games events will happen in Russia. The character in the game, Misha, is about returning to his former friends after spending a long period of time separated. The two will share the past, rekindle their the common ground and renew their bonds. Unfortunately, their reunion will soon be ruined due to an event that is beyond their control.
